In order to control the spread of the COVID-19 virus, the French authorities have re-imposed restrictions which will be in place from Friday 30 October until Tuesday 1 December at the earliest. In accordance with the national health and safety protocol, all employees have been advised to work from home, where possible. As a result, over the coming weeks, it will take longer to produce and send ICOM cards. Thank you for your patience as we all work through this together!
"Where ICOM From"
Museums were once criticized as old-fashioned institutions, but are today they are at the center of international geopolitical questions. The role of ICOM has also changed. It was founded in 1946 by a small group of professionals, and now includes some 48,900 members from an array of backgrounds. This video teaser was part of a special exhibition celebrating the 70th anniversary of ICOM at its 24th General Conference in Milan, Italy.
**As a public health precaution due to COVID-19, ICOM-US is currently working from home and we don’t know how long we will be in this situation. With that, please be mindful that your new membership card and/or renewal sticker will most likely be delayed in being delivered to you.
We understand you may have some questions and concerns. We are always available via email at [email protected]. Thank you in advance for your understanding and support. We appreciate our amazing ICOM-US community now more than ever.
Be safe, be well and stay connected!
