"Where ICOM From" Museums were once criticized as old-fashioned institutions, but are today they are at the center of international geopolitical questions. The role of ICOM has also changed. It was founded in 1946 by a small group of professionals, and now  includes some 35,000 members from an array of backgrounds. This video teaser was part of a special exhibition celebrating the 70th anniversary of ICOM at its 24th General Conference in Milan, Italy.
